How to submit a request
- Email tom@tomfrazier.com with the subject “CommentOS Data Deletion Request.”
- Include the social platform and username or account identifier associated with the information you want deleted.
- Do not send passwords, access tokens, or other account credentials.
- Complete a reasonable identity-verification step if requested. Verification helps prevent unauthorized deletion of another person’s information.
What happens next
After verification, CommentOS will locate responsive records and delete or de-identify them as required by applicable law. A confirmation will be sent when the request is complete. Information may be retained when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or legal claims.
Disconnecting a connected account
The CommentOS owner may disconnect or pause a connected social account in CommentOS. Disconnecting stops new collection from that connection but does not replace a deletion request for previously stored records.
